The Natural High Orchestra was founded in Hamburg Wilhemsburg, Germany as a Hip-Hop-Band in Summer 2008 by the founding members and longtime friends Tobias Zwengel a.k.a. DJ Zahn (DJ, percussion, production), Mounir Brinsi (vocals, drums, percussion, production), Andreas Losch a.k.a. Drelo (keys, production&mixing) and Boris Blanke a.k.a. Borilla (bass, guitar).
The N.H.O. worked with Rapper Kai Oetjen a.k.a. Whisky MC, singer Mounir Brinsi and singer Edisa Sabovic a.k.a. Miss Edisa for the next 5 years until Summer 2013, playing several gigs in the Hamburg area. 2 albums of Whisky MC were produced during this period, the first album called “Whizzies Weekend” (released on Drunk Funk Records in April 2011) and the second album called “Whizzy gibt ein’ aus” (free release on Soundcloud in 2012). Whisky MC and Miss Edisa left the band in 2013, focusing on other important things (like a private life), while Mounir continued to work on his Solo Career as a Singer and Songwriter, producing his first Solo Album. Lars Hellberg, who joined from January 2012 til Summer 2013 as the new drummer, replacing Mounir on the drums, left the group to work on his own production again. The remaining members (Drelo, Zahn and Borilla) continued to produce new songs from Summer 2013 until now and are currently working on the first N.H.O. Album, a Mix-CD of N.H.O. instrumentals in collaboration with several artists from all parts of the universe.
